Sugar Land Municipal Court will be open tomorrow, Thursday, February 10, 2011. In the event inclement weather requires the court to cancel court appearances, please note all court cases for February 10th will be re-scheduled. Municipal Court will notify all persons of their new court date. Citizens summoned for jury duty should contact the court at 281.275.2390 for further information.

In the event precipitation occurs during the forecasted freeze, Sugar Land Public Works crews will be on 24-hour standby, and several trucks are filled with sand that can be quickly deployed to City roadways affected by icing conditions. Particular attention will be given to areas that have been affected by icing in the past, including the City's 40 bridges.
The Texas Department of Transportation is responsible for state roads and highways, though Sugar Land is ready to assist TxDOT, if requested.
