Emergency Management Department

Welcome to the City of Sugar Land Emergency Management Department website. The Emergency Management Department is responsible for the city’s All-Hazards Emergency Management Plan. 

The primary mission of the Emergency Management Department is to coordinate emergency preparedness, response and recovery efforts with all city departments, citizens and surrounding communities. This is done through various types of training and exercises that involve city employees from all departments, surrounding agencies and volunteers from the community.
